Mark Fredesjed R. Cristino is a Filipino photographer who was born and raised in Saudi Arabia. A software trainer by profession, he quit his corporate job to pursue a career in photography following a freak accident from a football match. Mark first started covering sports that he played. When he met people from the photojournalism industry, he ventured into news and documentary photography and went back to school finishing a Diploma in Photojournalism at the Konrad Adenauer Asian Center for Journalism at the Ateneo de Manila University. Mark worked as a photographer and videographer for European Pressphoto Agency (EPA) from 2015 to 2024 including two years in Beijing, China. Mark pretty much shoots anything to keep him happy.
